(VOVWORLD) -The Kremlin says Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic agreed in a phone call on Sunday that Russia will continue to supply natural gas to Serbia and that the two countries will promote their partnership.

According to the Kremlin, the two also discussed Ukraine and Kosovo.
Vucic said Belgrade has no other option to replace Russian natural gas supplies. Despite its efforts to join the European Union, Serbia is also strengthening its political, economic and military ties with Russia.
