(VOVWORLD) -Russia has warned that the collapse of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the failure of other international agreements will inevitably create turmoil in international affairs.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with the Kommersant daily on Sunday that if international deals agreed by leading countries break down, it may force a mishmash and free-for-all. He made it clear that it would be unacceptable, be it Iran, Syria, Libya, Yemen, or North Korea.
Iran and world powers signed a nuclear deal July 2015, in order for Iran to curb its nuclear activities and place them under total control of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in exchange for abandonment of international sanctions. US President Donald Trump rejected the deal and wants renegotiation. Iran’s Foreign Ministry said it will not accept any adjustments to the agreement.
