(VOVworld) – Moscow warns that Kiev will suffer irreversible consequences for shelling Donetsk town, a Russian residential area close to the border of Lugansk in eastern Ukraine, killing 1 person and injuring 2 others. A statement from Russia's foreign ministry labelled the event Ukraine’s latest provocative act targeting Russian territory and citizens. It also warned of “irreversible consequences”, the responsibility for which lies on the Ukrainian side. According to the statement, Russia has sent a diplomatic note to protest Ukraine.
