Russian Coast Guard boost presence in Kerch-Yenikale area over Ukraine provocation
(VOVWORLD) - The Russian coast guard had to increase the number of vessels stationed in the are of the Kerch-Yenikale Canal in response to the recent Ukranian provocation in the Kerch Strait, Alexei Volsky, the first deputy head of the Russian Federal Security Service’s (FSB) coast guard department, said Saturday.

He said the coast guard of the Russian FSB also had to inspect more thoroughly the vessels that were passing through the canal.
The same day, head of the FSB's Research Department Mikhail Shishov said Kiev describes arrested Ukrainian citizens as “prisoners of war” although Russia and Ukraine are not in a state of war.
