(VOVWORLD) - Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu held separate phone talks on Sunday with his Turkish, British, and French counterparts to discuss the situation in Ukraine, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

Shoigu expressed to his counterparts Russia’s concern that Ukraine could detonate a "dirty bomb."
French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu reaffirmed France's desire for a peaceful resolution to the conflict, and said he plans to talk soon with his Ukrainian counterpart.
