(VOVworld) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held a press conference on Tuesday to review the achievements of Russian diplomacy and foreign policy in 2015 for 250 foreign and 200 domestic reporters. Lavrov briefed the reporters on the unstable global economy and said the Russian Aerospace Forces' operations in Syria have really changed the situation in Syria and reduced the territory under terrorists' control. He noted Russia’s Look East policy and talked about new prospects for cooperation between Russia and other countries in Asia Pacific, including Vietnam. He said a Russia-ASEAN summit will take place this May in Sochi to mark the 20^th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Russia and ASEAN.
