While speaking at the 17th World Congress of Russian Press on Thursday in Moscow, Prime Minister Medvedev stated that this is the first FTA between the EAEU and Vietnam. The pact helps Russia and other EAEU member nations penetrate into the 600 million-strong market in Southeast Asia.
Medvedev valued the role played by the two-day Congress, which gathers representatives from news and press agencies as well as television and broadcast stations using the Russian language from over 60 countries worldwide, including Vietnam.
