According to the Russian Defense Ministry, decryption of the recorder, which was found on the morning of Tuesday, may take up to several weeks.
The Kommersant business daily quoted the testimony of a Federal Security Service border guard, who claims to have seen the plane break up suggesting that what he saw may indicate pilot error or a mechanical fault.
