(VOVworld)- Vietnam’s Deputy Minister of Defense Truong Quang Khanh has highlighted the support that Russia, the Ukraine and Belarus gave to the Vietnamese people during their past struggles for national liberation. At a meeting with the visiting war veterans from all three countries, Mr. Khanh stressed that the Vietnamese people and army always treasure the practical and efficient support they receive from international friends, especially those from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. He said he hoped that the veterans would continue to share their experiences with Vietnam armed forces and help to strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation between Vietnam and their home countries.
