(VOVWORLD) - Sa Pa in the northern province of Lao Cai has been named among the top 50 most beautiful small towns in the world by international travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler.

The magazine said Sa Pa is a relatively peaceful mountain town renowned for its stunning mountain scenery, picturesque green rice terraces, as well as its proximity to beautiful waterfalls and breathtaking hiking trails.
Tourists also have the opportunity to explore a series of popular destinations around the town, including Ham Rong mountain, Fansipan peak, Muong Hoa valley, Seo My Ty lake, O Quy Ho pass, Silver waterfall, and Love waterfall, as well as gaining greater insights into the local life and the unique cuisine that’s offered in quaint traditional villages.
On another note, a recent report said Vietnam has welcomed nearly 3.7 million international visitors so far this year.
