(VOVWORLD) - The Egypt Today newspaper reported Sunday that the armed forces of Jordan, Egypt, Djibouti, Yemen, and Saudi Arabia are taking part in a naval exercise called "Red Waves Exercise 7" in the Red Sea, lasting several days.
The exercise involves activities aimed at sharing experience, enhancing planning and deployment capabilities for attacks, organizing defense strategies, and conducting sea search and rescue operations. This collaborative training welcomed observers from Algeria, Somalia, and Japan.
The "Red Waves Exercise" has been conducted annually since 2018.
