SEA Games 32 flag raising ceremony welcomes participating teams
(VOVWORLD) -The arrivals of sports delegations from 11 Southeast Asian countries in the 32nd SEA Games were welcomed as their national flags were raised at a touching ceremony at Morodok Techo National Stadium, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on Wednesday.

The flag raising ceremony shows friendship and solidarity of participating countries and encourages the presence of national sports delegations as well as the competitive spirit of athletes.
Addressing the ceremony, Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism and Vice Chairman of the National Committee for Organizing the 32nd SEA Games of Cambodia (CAMSOC) applauded 11 sports delegations for attending the Games held for first time in Cambodia.
Attending the flag raising ceremony, each country had 32 members corresponding to the 32nd time of the SEA Games. Deputy Head of the Vietnamese sports delegation Hoang Quoc Vinh and 31 athletes, coaches and officials represented Vietnam at the ceremony.
Vietnam has sent 1,003 members, including 702 athletes, to compete in 31 sports and 446 events. It aims to win from 90 to 120 gold medals and finish the top 3 of the SEA Games.
