Security talks between Pakistan and India collapse
(VOVworld) – Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry has announced to cancel the talks of the national security advisers scheduled to take place on Monday to discuss issues related to terrorism.
The Ministry said the talks aim to resume trust and look forward to the normalization of ties. The cancellation was announced after India said it would cancel the talks if Pakistan insisted on discussing the Kashmir issue and involving separatists in. This is the second time in one year talks between India and Pakistan have been cancelled due to the Kashmir issue. Last August, India suddenly cancelled security dialogue due to the meeting between separatist leaders in Kashmir and Pakistan high-level committee in New Delhi.
