(VOVworld) – A seminar themed “Legacy of Olof Palme and Vietnam-Sweden relations” took place in Hanoi on Thursday to commemorate the 30^th anniversary of the death of Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme and to mark the 47^th anniversary of Vietnamese-Swedish diplomatic ties.

The event helped to boost bilateral ties and reviewed the great contributions made by Prime Minister Palme.

Pierre Schori, the special representative of the Swedish Prime Minister, said the late Prime Minister laid a solid foundation for the unique and special relationship between the two countries. He added that Sweden will strengthen cooperation with Vietnam in all fields for both countries’ interests and development.
