(VOVWORLD) - Representatives from 100 enterprises attended a seminar in Budapest on Monday at which they were briefed on economic, trade, and investment developments in Vietnam and Hungary. National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue was among the attendees.
Hungary has strengths in industrial development, electronics, digital transformation, medicine, and energy, and particularly high-tech agriculture and the agro-processing industry, two areas in which Vietnam has a strong potential.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh said the seminar was an opportunity for businesses in Vietnam and Hungary to begin a new era of cooperation.
"We are committed to creating the best possible business environment – one which can maintain socio-political and macroeconomic stability, remove economic bottlenecks in institutions and laws, improve transportation infrastructure and human resources, reform administrative procedures, and increase transparency", Mr. Thanh said.
Peter Andras Sztaray, Secretary of State at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Economic External Relations, said the Hungarian business community wants to promote trade cooperation with Vietnam.
