Senior Party official visits hospitals in Hanoi ahead of Vietnam Doctor's Day
(VOVWORLD) -Head of the Party Central Committee’s Communications and Education Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia on Thursday visited Vietnam Sports Hospital and Tam Anh General Hospital on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Vietnam Doctor's Day (February 27).

At Vietnam Sports Hospital, Southeast Asia’s only hospital specializing in sports, Nghia applauded the hospital's development and asked the hospital leaders to set a strategic vision which is in harmony with the achievements of the two sectors of healthcare and sports.
He stressed on scientific research, training, and fostering a team of sports doctors and nurses to serve the country. The senior Party official also visited and encouraged patients being treated at the hospital.

Visiting Tam Anh General Hospital, Nghia praised the achievements that the Tam Anh General Hospital system, VNVC vaccination system and ECO Pharmaceutical Company have achieved over the past 15 years as they have provided health examination, treatment, and vaccination services to tens of millions of children and adults.
He applauded the hospital’s success in early ordering and bringing to Vietnam more than 30 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine, which promptly contributed to epidemic prevention and control and protecting people's health.
