Services on National Public Service Portal now number 2,700
(VOVWORLD) - The number of services provided via the National Public Service Portal has reached 2,700, said a Wednesday conference to review the first year of operation of the portal.

The portal was launched last December with 8 services. As of Wednesday, the Portal has provided 6,700 procedures at 4 administrative levels and helped the government save 347 million USD. Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam stressed the importance of the National Public Service Portal, which is an important index for foreign investors to evaluate Vietnam’s e-government. He called for measures to promote the electronic environment in all transactions.
“Basic services of the Portal will be installed on low-cost phones of under a program we have launched. I call on operators to work together to make these applications automatically updated.”
