Singapore on high alert after foiled rocket attack
(VOVworld) – Singapore has called on its people to stay on high alert after the recent uncovering of a plot to conduct rocket attack against the country.

Singapore's home affairs minister, K. Shanmugam, said the terrotists had plans to hit Marina Bay, a popular entertainment area attracting a great number of tourists in Singapore. K. Shanmugam said that the attack is the vivid evidence of the lone wolf plot from radicalized individuals and groups.
On Saturday, Indonesian police identified the leader of the group of six arrested on Batam as Gigih Rahmat Dewa with the plot to shoot Rocket from Batam Island to Singapore. The group was suspected of having direct links to Bahrun Naim, an Indonesian who had lived in Solo but is now believed to be fighting with Islamic State in Syria.
