(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh has urged Soc Trang province to make an effort to reduce the poverty rate among ethnic minority groups by 3% per year.

During a working visit to the province on Monday, he asked the province to help ethnic minorities gain access to education, health services, and preferential loans.
The same day, Deputy PM Binh presented gifts to local Khmer people in Chau Thanh commune and To Thi Tot, a mother of two war martyrs.
