Social distancing must be strictly observed: Deputy PM
(VOVWORLD) - Strict social distancing rules nationwide will help curb the spread of COVID-19, said Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam at a meeting of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on Friday morning.

The next 15 days are a "golden period" to slow the disease spreading among the community, minimizing losses in lives, added Mr. Dam. The situation is under control, so people’s daily activities and production, and socio-economic development must be ensured. Appropriate warnings will be issued depending on developments of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control urged relevant ministries and agencies to boost communication activities and encourage people to strictly abide by social distancing rules. Strict punishments will be applied on violators.
