Social impact businesses to receive support from COVID-19 adaptation program
(VOVWORLD) -29 social impact businesses (SIBs) will receive six months of coaching services and 4,300 USD as seed funding to test and refine their creative models and realize their potential.

The announcement was made at an event on Tuesday co-hosted by the Agency of Enterprise Development (AED) under the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI), Global Affairs Canada (GAC), and the UN Development Programme (UNDP).
Addressing the event, AED General Director Le Manh Hung said that the COVID-19 Adaptation Program is a meaningful, necessary, and comprehensive support project, both financially and technically, that will help SIBs overcome the challenges of COVID-19 and restore production.
“They are the best businesses, hoping that after receiving the support package, there will be outstanding development with sustainability in the future. But more importantly, we want businesses to continue to share their experiences when implementing new and sustainable business models for other businesses, or post images and stories to the information technology platform of the Agency of Enterprise Development to share lessons with the business community,” Mr Hung said.
