South Central Coast to further develop tourism
(VOVworld) - A master plan for tourism development along the South Central Coast of Vietnam by 2020 with a vision to 2030 was announced in Da Nang City on Wednesday by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The plan, approved by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung aims to boost sea and island tourism, - the strength of the region - and to develop urban tourist spots with high-quality services. The tourism sector is targeted to become a key industry in the region by 2020. The region aims to attract 15 million tourists by 2020 and 25 million tourists by 2030, generating revenues of 3.2 billion USD by 2020 and 7.3 billion USD by 2030.
