(VOVworld) – South Korea continues to lead in FDI in Vietnam with the total investment capital of 44.9 billion USD.

According to the survey on FDI in Vietnam from 1988 to the present, carried out by the Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, South Korea has always taken the lead, accounting for 16.1 percent of 279 billion USD of FDI capital in Vietnam. 2015 was also the second consecutive year in which South Korea was Vietnam’s number 1 investor, with a total capital of 6.7 billion USD, 87.9 percent of which was in production and manufacturing. Vietnam is also South Korea’s fourth biggest investor.
