The prosecution’s special investigate unit in charge of the Choi Soon-sil case questioned 2 senior officials of the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI), relating to the meetings that were held for 2 days last July, local media reported. The prosecutors found detailed evidence that President Park had ordered 7 conglomerate heads to make donations to the cultural and sports funds initiated by Choi. The findings were based on an investigation into Ahn Jong-beom, former senior presidential secretary on policy coordination, who was accused of helping Choi earn tens of millions of USD from big corporations to her dubious non-profitable foundations.
