(VOVWORLD) - South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Wednesday pledged to increase diplomatic cooperation to find a peaceful solution to North Korea’s nuclear program.

Ms. Kang said South Korea will coordinate with world powers to bring North Korea back to the negotiation table and pursue North-South talks. Mr. Lavrov reiterated Moscow’s collaboration with South Korea to improve North-South relations and restore other contact channels, including US-North Korea talks.
