(VOVWORLD) - South Korean health authorities say they have seen success in treating patients of the new coronavirus with the antiretroviral and flu medications.

The patients, a Chinese and a South Korean nationalities, have been totally recovered.
Chinese and Thai doctors have also reported positive results in treating severe cases of the new disease with a similar combination of drugs. Kaletra antiretroviral targets protease in HIV and coronaviruses, cutting up proteins needed in their proliferation.
It’s early to confirm Keletra can be used to treat coronavirus but experts have acknowledged its effectiveness.
