Hwang said he is deeply concerned about the launches that he describes as provocative acts, a threat to security on the Korean peninsula and Northeast Asia, and a violation of UN Security Council resolutions regardless of alerts from the world community. He said South Korea will work closely with its allies to increase pressure on North Korea by sanctions and UN resolutions, forcing it to give up its missile and nuclear programs.
