Deputy Prime Minister Lee Joon-sik said people have right to demonstrate but it should take place in a peaceful manner and respect of the law. This has been the third demonstration on weekends to protest President Park Geun-hye who let her close friend Choi Soo-Sil interfere in South Korea’s internal affairs.
Police said around 170,000 protesters would take part in the Saturday rally, but organizers said they expect up to 500,000 people to participate.
