15 politicians have registered as candidates for the presidency and will
participate in a 22-day election campaign which will end on May 8, the day
before Election Day. The two top candidates are Moon Jae-in of the Democratic
Party and Ahn Cheol-soo of the centre-to-left Popular Party.
