(VOVWorld) President Truong Tan Sang paid a New Year visit to Hanoi Municipal Police on Monday, the first working day of the New Year of the Dragon. President Sang congratulated Hanoi Police on their achievements over the past year. He attributed the country’s achievements to contributions by the police in general and the municipal police in particular. Sang called on the Hanoi police to be proactive and innovative to cope with any hostile scheme against the national security. “It is important that the police forces remain vigilant against the root causes of social disorder. Being a key security force which is in charge of the security for the capital city, Hanoi police should always strive to best accomplish any given tasks,” said the State President.
President Sang is confident that the Hanoi Police will continue to reap further success to ensure peace and stability for the capital city. President Sang and Party and the State officials visited the Hanoi Police Museum.
