At a reception for Heng Samrin in Hanoi on Sunday, Mr. Trong said the Vietnamese Party, State, and people treasure the relationship with Cambodia and thanked the Cambodian people for their support for Vietnam’s national liberation in the past in national construction and defense at present.

At a reception for Saysomphone Phomvihane, President of the Lao Front for National Construction, in Hanoi on Sunday, the Party leader said the Vietnam visit by Mr. Phomvihane marks the 55^th anniversary of Vietnam-Laos diplomatic relations, and the 40^th anniversary of signing Vietnam-Laos Treaty of Amity and Cooperation. He suggested that the front organizations of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia implement their tri-lateral cooperation program until 2020 and enhance education on the history of friendly relations between the 3 countries.
