(VOVworld) – On Tuesday, the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance (VCA) opened its first supermarket for safe agricultural products to promote Vietnamese agricultural products’ trademarks. More than 1,000 agricultural products from cooperatives nationwide are available at the supermarket.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ho Thi Kim Thoa lauded the model and expressed her hope that the VCA will duplicate the model nationwide and promote the “Vietnamese give priority to Vietnamese products” campaign: “Producers need to honor their commitment to produce products that meet food hygiene and safety requirements. Cooperatives need to closely monitor the production process to ensure safe products”.
