Supermarkets reopen on second day of Tet holiday
(VOVWORLD) - Many supermarkets across Vietnam like Big C, Saigon Co.op, Lotte Mart, and MM Mega Mart, reopened on Wednesday, the second day of the Lunar New Year festival (Tet), to serve buying needs.

Some commercial centers, supermarkets, and convenience stores have operated throughout Tet this week to ensure the constant supply of essential consumer goods.
Saigon Trading Corporation with 30 Satrafoods convenience stores in Ho Chi Minh City opens from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day, from Wednesday.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Duc, General Director of Ho Chi Minh City Union of Trade Cooperatives (Saigon Co.op) said the retail system Saigon Co.op has prepared a wide range of quality products.
“This year like every year, we only close on the first day of Tet, most of the selling points will be back to service on the second day. So, people feel secure. Until now, there has been no congestion,” Mr. Duc said.
