(VOVworld) - Suspected Boko Haram Islamists killed at least eight people and kidnapped 100 in a raid on a village in northern Cameroon, not far from Boko Haram’s Nigerian strongholds.
The attack took place early Tuesday morning in the village of Tchakamari, northern Maroua, where tens of people were killed in suicide bomb attacks by Boko Haram last month.
A senior military officer said the attackers crossed over from Nigeria shortly after midnight.
