Swimmer Phuong Tram wins 4 gold medals at Southeast Asian competition
(VOVworld) - Nguyen Diep Phuong Tram won four gold medals on the first day of the Southeast Asian competition for young swimmers in Thailand. After 5 months of training in the US, 16-year-old Tram won two individual gold medals on Friday in 100m female breaststroke and 100 butterfly categories as well as two golds in relay events. Vietnamese swimmers won a total of 14 gold medals, leading the medal tally in the first day of competing. The contest for regional swimmers between 13 and 18 will close on Sunday.
