Syria regime forces ready to blitz rebel enclave in East Ghouta
(VOVWORLD) - Syrian forces readied Sunday for a ground offensive against the rebel-held enclave of eastern Ghouta outside Damascus.

Rami Abdel Rahman, head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights told the press that the reinforcements are complete and the attack is just waiting for a green light. He said the regime began dispatching military reinforcements to eastern Ghouta on Feb. 5, the same day it launched a fierce five-day bombing campaign on the region.
