(VOVworld) – The Syrian government has said it is ready to cooperate with the UN Security Council’s resolution on providing humanitarian aid if it respects Syria’s sovereignty.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry said on Sunday that by condemning terror attacks by Al-Qaeda-linked organizations, the Security Council has admitted the presence of Al-Qaeda-linked terrorism in Syria. Since the crisis arose in March, 2011, 140,000 citizens have been killed and millions of people have fled to neighboring countries.
