Syrian army liberates the strategic town of Uqayribat from IS
(VOVWORLD) - The Russian Ministry of Defense said on Saturday that the Syrian Army, backed by the Russian Air Forces, officially liberated the strategic town of Uqayribat in Hama province.

A statement of the Russia Defense Ministry said that the fourth armored division's units of the Syrian government forces supported by the fifth attack troop corps of volunteers and military intelligence service Mukhabarat liberated the town of Uqayribat. The campaign was undertaken with the help of the Russian Air Forces.
