Syrian government attacks last rebel enclave in Ghouta
(VOVWORLD) - The Syrian government launched a fierce air and ground assault on the last rebel-held town in eastern Ghouta on Friday following the failure of its negotiation with Jaish al-Islam group.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Syria carried out a ground attack against the group from an agricultural area in eastern Douma and Mesraba village in south-western Douma. Douma were hit by 300 air strikes on Friday, one day after the 4th Jaish al-Islam family refused to leave.
