Tembin-hit localities asked to ensure safety of life and property - ảnh 1Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung works with Ca Mau authority on measures to cope with typhoon Tembin.

He underscored the importance to ensure safety for people, assets, and other public constructions. He stressed that at all costs, it is a must to ensure the safety of life and property for local people, deploy forces to help locals consolidate their homes and continue to keep a close watch on Tembin to minimise the damage caused by the storm.

“No fisherman is allowed to stay in the sea. People in the coastal areas must evacuate to safe places. When the typhoon’s intensity reduces, people often negligently return to their homes in vulnerable areas to keep their assets. The authority must not allow people to do so.”

Typhoon Tembin hit Truong Sa archipelago in Khanh Hoa province and blew up the roofs 4 houses and damaged 14 lamp and telecommunications posts and many other public works.
