The rally marked the anniversary of the deaths of dozens of demonstrators in the pro-Western uprisings which became known as the Maidan protests.
The umbrella "Anti-Maidan" movement was set up earlier this year. Maidan is a concept about protests in Kiev against Ukrainian President Viktor Yanucovich delaying signing Eropean Union Assocaition.
