Terrorist alerts during Euro 2016
(VOVworld) - Security will be at its highest ever level for a major football tournament during Euro 2016 with terror experts fearing jihadists are preparing to strike.

Europol Director Rob Wainwright has warned of a possible terrorist attacks during the 2016 European Football Championships in France next month.

Wainwright said he has “great concern” because the tournament “is an attractive target for terrorists.” Head of the European Union police agency Europol, Rob Wainwright, said easy-to-access public places are the most likely to be hit during the month-long tournament, which starts on June 10.
