(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese embassy in Mongolia held a Tet celebration this week. Ambassador Phan Dang Duong reviewed Vietnam’s political, social, and economic situation and briefed on the outcomes of the 12th National Party Congress. He asked Vietnamese people in Mongolia to contribute to Vietnam’s development and friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Vietnamese ambassador to Ukraine Nguyen Minh Tri led a delegation to visit Vietnamese people in conflict areas such as Mariupol, Zaporozhe, Dnepropetrovsk, and Kharkov. He presented Tet gifts to a number of overseas Vietnamese families and encouraged them to overcome current difficulties.
The Association of Vietnamese Cambodians raised money to buy 800 Tet gifts for poor Vietnamese people in Cambodia. Association President Chau Van Chi said: “The Vietnamese embassy, consulate, investors, and generous individuals have helped Vietnamese people in Cambodia have a happy Tet. We are encouraging them to abide by local laws to avoid any incidents within the Vietnamese community.”
