Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Viet Dung said he hopes Vietnamese expats will continue to foster people-to-people exchanges and ties between the two countries. He said that the bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership has flourished recently.
Vietnam is New Zealand’s 16th largest trade partner with two-way trade totaling 1.2 billion USD. The two nations hope to raise bilateral trade to 1.7 billion USD by 2020, by making economic cooperation a pillar of their relationship.
