(VOVworld) - Sonthiyarn Chuenruethai-naitham, a leader of Thai anti-government protests, was arrested by police Monday at a shopping complex in Bangkok. According to the Bangkok Post, he currently owns the T-news agency and holds a high post on the People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC). He is the first PDRC leader arrested since the anti-government protest began.

The opposition has conducted marches and seized administration offices in Bangkok seeking to topple Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.
