He said on Saturday that there is no better way than negotiation to settle the current crisis. He asked both sides to make concession for the nation and urged any Thai organization to voluntarily play an intermediary role.
Patimaprakorn denied a rumor that he is planning to stage a military coup to become the next prime minister, saying that the armed forces still have a good relationship with the police and are able to discuss all matters openly.
