(VOVworld) – On Thursday, a Thai court issued an arrest warrant for a Pakistani man in connection with last month’s deadly bombing in Bangkok.

Thai police spokesman Prawut Thavornsiri said the warrant for Abdul Tawab cites charges of conspiracy to possess unauthorized explosives and conspiracy to possess unauthorized war materials. Thai police found bomb-making materials in an apartment that Tawab frequented in Nong Chock District, northern Bangkok. Prawut said Tawab was seen accompanying Mieraili Yusufu, the main suspect in the bomb attack, and allegedly helped several other suspects to flee after the attack.
