Accordingly, Thai Prime Minister Prayit Chan-o-cha ensures to people that there will be no interruption in government functioning.
This announcement was made after a meeting of the Situation Control Center chaired by Prime Minister's Office Minister Suwaphan Tanyuvardhana. Lieutenant General Sansern declared that the process to return to the Democracy proposed by Military authorities will be remained as planned. Accordingly, a parliamentary election will be held in November, 2017.
Previously, Thailand’s Royal Internal Affairs Ministry has opened the Royal Palace for visitors to pay tribute to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej for 15 days, starting from last Saturday.
