According to the Thai media, Jatuporn Prompan and Nattawut Saikuar, were arrested by uniformed army officials while making a stop in Mahachai, Samut Songkram province en route to the park.

Both said earlier they would visit Rajapakti Park, where reports suggested possible corruption in a construction project.

Last Sunday, the Thai military administration accused several Red Shirt members of being behind an alleged scheme to cause chaos in the capital during the Loy Krathong Festival and the “Bike for Dad” event.
