(VOVworld) - The Thai Democratic Party asked on Monday to amend Thailand’s temporary constitution.  Democratic Party spokesman Ramet Rattanachaweng said the Party’s specific request requires an amendment to the temporary constitution, in case the new constitution does not pass the referendum.

He said the government must clarify its decision so people will have the information before they vote. The Party also asked that the Constitution Drafting Committee include in the new draft mechanisms to give the public power on anti-corruption issues while protecting citizens and organizations that expose corruption and witnesses in anti-corruption proceedings.
